An article in the Canberra
Times regarding a list of the eight most secure cars as compiled by
Carsafe.
Only one locally made car is on the list, prompting
Carsafe’s
Executive Director Ray Carroll to encourage local manufacturers to
aspire to a higher security score, like Subaru and BMW, who had a
dramatic drop in theft since Microdotting their vehicles.
Audi scores top marks in the NRMA
insurance annual vehicle security ratings. Audi’s managing director,
Joerg Hofmann, said the company is pleased with the result. Mr. Hofmann
discusses the use of DataDot across their entire range of vehicles.
