laser-etched discs that can resist extremes in temperature, water
egression and all common chemicals and solvents. You can quickly apply
hundreds of them, to whatever you want, and they will last the life of
your asset.
in this kit
are laser etched with either;
a) your boat or outboard motors’ Hull Identification Number (HIN), or;
b) a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will be linked to your
HIN on our DataDot National Register.
Warning labels will be affixed to your boat and equipment, so the
thieves know that if they steal them, they run a great risk of getting
caught.

Where can I purchase the kit?
For all purchases within Australia please fill in a
Purchase Request Form,
and you will be contacted by our National Marine Manager. For all
purchases outside of Australia, please access the relevant details on
your country site through our
Global Network on the
DataDot Technology Global site.
How do I apply the
DataDotDNA?
A simple, effective Do-It-Yourself procedure has been developed to brush
on to your
boat and other marine equipment. This allows customers to DataDot their
own assets in their own time with ease. Hand applied

What else do I have to do if I have a
PIN code on my
DataDotDNA?
After your have applied
to your
boat and other equipment, it is important to register your PIN on the
DataDot National Register, along with your personal details. The
Australian Police have access to this register and can conduct checks on
goods suspected of being stolen.

to work as a deterrent to thieves. However in the event that your assets
are stolen, it will be these checks that will help recover your assets
for you, and lead to the sentencing of thieves. You can log on to the
